PORTISHEAD ROBE - RAGE

Portishead Robe in Rage is a study in fluid drape and relaxed structure, designed to move effortlessly with the body. A beloved successor to the Alex Kimono, the silhouette falls from the shoulder into a plunging neckline that cascades into a sculptural front drape, creating natural shape through the waist without restriction. The robe-like construction offers ease through the upper body, while the skirt follows the form with a long, fluid line.

The Rage print is an abstract ornamental digital print with a bold, graphic feel. It features scrolling, baroque inspired motifs in softly distressed neutrals set against a warm burnt orange ground. The contrast between the earthy base and the textured, stone like forms gives the print depth and a slightly aged, artisanal character, while still reading modern and striking on the body.

Balanced by relaxed kimono sleeves and a clean, minimal back, the design maintains a sense of ease while offering subtle structure through the waist seam. A centre back split allows for movement, reinforcing the fluidity of the silhouette.
